Rules and Guidance

Any photo can be submitted so long as it is either Probe or club related.

Although anyone, members and non-members alike can vote for a winning pic, only Full Members are eligible to submit their photos for entry into the competition.

Each member can only submit a maximum of 2 photos for any given month, although new photo/photos can be submitted at any time so long as one or both of the previous photos are removed.

As each new entry is added to the gallery, a number of photos (oldest) will be removed from the back end of the gallery in order to ensure that only around 20 - 25 exist in the gallery in any month. To many photos in the gallery at one time often causes the votes to be spread out too thinly.

The MINIMUM picture size accepted is 640 pixels wide by 400 pixels high. This is because the winning photo will be added to the all time POTM Winners gallery and so needs to be displayable at the above size.

We can accept pics as big as you like since they will be resized down to usable dimensions.

Photo's can be submitted. either by E-mail to fpocpotm@aol.com OR by providing us with a link to your photo/photo's hosted on a photobucket account.

We can accept photos at any time up until the last week of each month, at which time we will update the gallery and post the voting Poll as a sticky in the public forum. Note: Any pics received. after the deadline WILL be held back and entered automatically in the following month.

In the event of a tie, BOTH photos will be declared Joint Winners and each entrant will each receive a Certificate and have their photo hosted at the top of our forum pages.

From time to time we receive photos which are of poor quality, small size, or of unsuitable content. Although we may stretch a point occasionally we do reserve the right to reject any which we think unusable. Note: This occurs very rarely!

Anyone wishing to submit their photos to Photo of the Month must state clearly.. their Full name, Forum Username, and FP membership number (if known). Fullname and Username are ESSENTIAL so please don't forget to include them
